Super Discounted Award Campaign to San Francisco and Vancouver

Good day to live in Vancouver today, Japan Airlines (JAL) has yet another campaign targeted for the Vancouver route (well probably because it is under performing even after downsizing it from 777 to 767 earlier in March). JAL is running a Super Discount Award Ticket Campaign for its Tokyo Haneda (HND) - San Francisco (SFO) and Tokyo Narita (NRT) - Vancouver (YVR) routes between November 1 2011 and February 29 2012. You can save up to 30,000 JMB miles if you redeem an award ticket on these routes and fly during the campaign period. Below are more details.

Campaign Period November 1 2011 - February 29 2012 (flight date)

Tokyo Narita (NRT) - Vancouver (YVR) (JL017/018)

You can find the full details of the campaign on JAL website (Japanese, English)

At the same time, American Airlines (AA) is running the same campaign on their side as AA and JAL are JBV partners now. But the amount of AA miles required are THE SAME as JMB ones! Also, AA folks still don't have to pay for fuel surcharge on JAL redemptions! Which means AA members can pay the same amount of miles which they earned in much more easier ways than JMB miles and can save USD 576 on fuel surcharge too! This is screwed up!!! They should at least charge them more miles considered AA are giving them away as if they are dirt cheap!

Below are the links to the list of AA side of the campaign

Notice how there's an extra Japan - Asia double miles campaign...now hopefully JAL will offer the same campaign to make it up for us :)
